About the Artist
John A. Mathews, a retired Army veteran, has developed his artistic skill set over a lifetime, including through tutelage and university training, and has dedicated years to honing his talents. His mediums include oil painting, acrylics, photography, pen and ink, and pencil drawings. He creates art commissions as well as independent art pieces. In addition to art, he writes poetry and overlays verses on photographs or artwork for display as wall art.
Many of his art pieces are sold as prints. Giclée prints are produced using archival inks and archival paper, which can last over 80 years in the right environment before showing any signs of age. All his prints are of archival quality.
